Our Back to School Nutrition Letter contains important information to assist you in preparing for a new school year. It includes a table that outlines the cost per meal and the cost for the year based on the full school year calendar for one student.

PLEASE ADD MONEY TO YOUR STUDENT'S ACCOUNT BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

We accept payments via cash or check to your student's school or online using your MyMealtime account. See this flyer for more information on the MyMealtime app. For assistance, please call the Nutrition Office at 605-882-6325 or email Caitlin.Bach@k12.sd.us.

Full menus can be found here: Dining Menu

The Watertown School District Nutrition Services Department has an established meal charge policy in place for all students. The purpose of having a meal charging policy enables our schools to establish consistent and clear food service account procedures throughout the District. The policy may be found here.

FREE AND REDUCED-PRICED MEALS APPLICATION

YOU MUST COMPLETE A NEW FREE/REDUCED APPLICATION EVERY YEAR!

  • If you believe your family qualifies for free or reduced-price meals, you must complete an application before the start of the school year to avoid being charged for meals on the first day of school.

  • Families with students who qualified for SNAP/TANF for the prior school year or qualified for free or reduced-price meals for the prior school year, have 30 school days to complete a new application.

  • Free and Reduced Priced Meal Applications are available online via Campus Parent Portal. Paper copies are available from and may be returned to each school office.

  • Please check out this video to help you complete your online application through the Campus Parent Portal.
