As we approach the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year, we would like to inform you about important changes regarding the upcoming school year’s teacher assignments. Understanding the curiosity and anticipation surrounding your child’s next teacher, we are committed to keeping you informed and prepared.
Changes in Reporting Teacher Assignments
This year, the name of your child’s teacher for the 2024-2025 school year will not be listed on the 4th quarter report card as has been customary. This adjustment allows our staff to make thoughtful and careful placements, considering the needs of all students and the dynamics of our revised teaching staff.
Teacher Assignment Process
We understand that the relationship between teacher and student is vital to the success of the learning experience. Therefore, we would like to remind parents that we will not be taking specific teacher requests for the 2024-2025 school year. Current staff will work to create classrooms with the best “chemistry” using learning styles, academic abilities and social dynamics to promote an equitable learning environment. We appreciate the trust you place in us regarding classroom placements.
However, we recognize that in some instances, there may be concerns about potential major conflicts between a student/family and a teacher based on past experiences. If you believe there is a significant issue that needs to be considered, please do not hesitate to contact the building principal directly with your concerns. We are here to support your child’s educational experience and will consider all serious inquiries to ensure the well-being of all students.
Accessing Teacher Placement Information 2024-2025 school year
To find out who your child’s teacher will be for the 2024-2025 school year, please log in to the parent Infinite Campus portal on July 1, 2024. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prepare the portal to provide you with the most accurate and updated information.
