Sheltered Reality started their tour of the Watertown School District on Thursday morning at Jefferson Elementary. Steve S, the director of this phenomenal drum line, guided the assembly with a message of kindness, caring, and believing in YOU. The infusion of Katy Perry songs and many others, provided the drummers, students and teachers an opportunity to explore rhythm. Many of our teachers had the opportunity to discover their rhythmic talents, laugh and dance with students. The energy was like a rock concert and the message was more powerful. At the end, Steve reminded the kids how they can always be a light in the darkness! There will be a performance at the Boys/Girls Club Friday evening at 6:30 PM. You do not have to be a member to attend.
